Itinerary
Day 1: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,610m), approximately 3 hours. Start the day with a thrilling flight to Lukla, a small airport amidst the Himalayas. Overnight in Phakding. Day 2: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), around 5–6 hours. Arrive at the iconic Sherpa town. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Day 3: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Explore local culture, visit monasteries, and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Day 4: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3,860m), approximately 5 hours. Overnight at Tengboche. Day 5: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350m), around 5.5 hours. Overnight in Dingboche. Day 6: Acclimatization day in Dingboche, with short hikes around the village and spectacular scenery. Duration about 4.5 hours. Overnight in Dingboche. Day 7: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m), approximately 5 hours. Overnight in Lobuche. Day 8: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365m) and back to Gorak Shep (5,180m). Experience the glory of the base camp and return to Gorak Shep. Overnight in Gorak Shep. Day 9: Hike up to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for panoramic views, then trek down to Pheriche (4,120m), around 7 hours. Overnight in Pheriche. Day 10: Visit Tengboche Monastery and trek back to the monastery area, approximately 5 hours. Overnight at Tengboche Monastery. Day 11: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), around 4 hours. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840m), approximately 7 hours. Overnight in Lukla.
